ANGP Volunteers

talkOver 25 committee chairs and volunteers are working to plan and prepare for ANGP. Parents of the senior class plan, organize and supervise the party. Junior and other underclass parents attend to learn about how the party is implemented and offer significant help in setting up for the event. Food, activities and funding are being arranged; decorations, equipment, mementos and prizes are being acquired. You can volunteer for committees that are active during the school year (ticket sales, fundraising, decorations, donations). You can also volunteer to help by working a shift during the party.

UNDERCLASS PARENTS are especially encouraged to volunteer for set-up and decorating, since Senior Parents will be attending graduation. ANY JUNIOR PARENT WHO WOULD LIKE TO SHADOW AND CO-CHAIR A COMMITTEE THIS YEAR SHOULD CONTACT THE ANGP VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR. There is no better way to learn how to run a great party for future classes than by on-the-job training this year!    SCHS Alumni/Alumnae (ages 21 and older) are also encouraged to volunteer.

The party depends on over 100 volunteers in order to be successful. Several shifts are available and early sign up is encouraged so you can get the shift and job you prefer.

Shifts will include:

  • Setup:
    • (June 15) 4:00pm – 7:00pm, 6:00pm – 9:00pm
      (June 16) 9:00am -12:00pm, 12:00 – 3:00pm, 3:00 – 6:00pm, 6:00pm – 8:30pm, 7:00pm – 9:30pm
  • General Volunteer: 10:00pm-1:30am, 1:15am-4:30am
  • Security: 10:00pm-1:45am, 1:30 – 5:30 am
  • Cleanup: 4:00-6:00am, 4:30 – 7:00 am
